Faculty Position in Small Animal ECC, Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA

Purdue University, College of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences invites applications from qualified individuals for a full-time Clinical-Track Position in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) at the level of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will join the three current full-time ECC faculty.

The department works with and is supported by a team of board-certified specialists in other areas including anesthesiology, behavior, cardiology, clinical pathology, pathology, dentistry,dermatology, internal medicine, laboratory animal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, surgery, theriogenology and toxicology. The department is nurturing a growing program which includes several experienced emergency doctors, and a residency training program with three residents. The ECC department is supported by 15 licensed veterinary technicians, two of which are VTS (ECC) with three others currently seeking certification.

The ECC service is well established and able to receive and treat advanced trauma cases as well as provide advanced critical care monitoring and support for our patients. The ECC service has had a consistently growing caseload and receives emergency referrals as well as local emergency cases for Tippecanoe County and the surrounding area.
