This is a daytime ECC position based on a 3 day week and 1 in 4 weekends. You would be required to manage any urgent/critical cases that come in through the day, work them up and perform surgery if you wish (this will be heavily supported by the surgeons). As an integral part of the team, you will be heavily involved in case management, looking after inpatients and developing treatment plans too.
You will be working alongside an experienced referral team, offering services in orthopaedics, neurology including spinal surgery, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and cardiology. We offer great facilities at our state of the art purpose-built hospital (with on-site MRI and CT), this will offer you a great learning environment. You will see a wide range of interesting cases and your skills by using all the equipment and working with experienced clinicians, will improve dramatically. We have a 1.5T MRI scanner, 80 slice Toshiba CT scanner, 3 ultrasound machines, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, laparoscopic equipment, arthroscopy, ECG, hydrotherapy.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in managing emergency and hospital cases. We would like someone with a strong interest in internal medicine or ECC. A certificate holder or someone who would wish to pursue a certificate would be ideal, but happy to consider other applicants.
