The Division of Small Animal Internal Medicine, Department of Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Liège, Belgium, offers 3 positions:
– A position for a Resident in small animal internal medicine, starting October 1, 2018.
– A position for an Intern in small animal internal medicine, starting September 1st, 2018.
– Two positions for an Intern in small animal emergency and critical care, starting September 1st, 2018.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Liège is situated outside of the city centre on a hilly slope which represents the start of the beautiful Ardennes. The University has a well-equipped hospital: intensive care unit, digital X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, endoscopy (gastrointestinal, respiratory and cystoscopy), urethral pressure profilometry, ….
Caseload for small animals is around 10000 cases a year.
